Tchibo Coffee Service GmbH
Inselstand, 204m², Südback, Stuttgart
With more than 12,000 employees and a turnover of around 3.2 billion euros, Tchibo is one of the most successful internationally active consumer goods and retail companies in Germany, based in Hamburg.
Cup of coffee? That’ll be 20 pence!
Tchibo wanted to support sales in the bakery retail trade and strengthen customer loyalty. A classic coffee house concept was favoured to retain existing bakery owners as partners, re-activate former ones and win new converts. The bakery is, after all, traditionally the place to enjoy a cup of coffee while shopping and also the place to buy coffee for home. The aim was to renew this tradition. The resulting concept should also be presented as part of Tchibo’s fair trade presence.
How did we get this across?
With a concept that promised success for both sides, showing how Tchibo reaches out to its partners. A “handshake” which is symbolised by two connected yet independent spaces. In the Tchibo brand world, the company’s claim to quality should be conveyed as well as its philosophy. The adjacent area invites bakers to experience the new coffee house concept.
Multifunctional is ideal
The division of the exhibition stand makes the basic idea of the concept visible from a distance.
